What's Going On?

Things are looking a little bit better.
The weather is getting a little bit warmer.
I'm over the Flu. Yeah.
The children are sleeping a little bit better.
My two month old is drinking a lot of breast milk with soy milk
thrown in when my other children are watching him so I can get things done.
this is the first time I've had to use soy milk before the children are weaned but such is the life these days.

I'm trying to get rid of the clutter in my house and got rid of tons of stuff to good will. I have tons more but husband won't let me touch his office clutter which is tons! He believes in keeping everything so I do what I can.

I have a house full of kids - 6 in a small house so there is a whole lot of clutter and no real privacy for the kids. I had a visitor yesterday. One of my husband's friends came by and brought his new wife. They've been married about 2 years I guess as they have a 10 month old son. She was nice although her english was limited as she is a new arrival from Pakistan.

I'm trying to start a new exercise regimen and now with the weather getting warmer there is no reason not to go for long walks. I wanted to join a woman's gym but then have to worry about who will babysit the two youngest 19 months and 2 months. The 19 month is not a problem with the hubbster but the 2 month old he just doesn't have the patience for. My 11 year old is good with him though so with her and hubster maybe I can do it. This will inshallah improve my mental health and my fat stores! I can't take being overweight. I'm taking birth control pills and am making sure not to miss any this time as I'm hoping for an early menopause!

Nice to see you posting!

Insha Allah you will find a way to exercise and get in shape. Happy Spring (almost!)

I struggle with post-partum anxiety, too. I've finally decided to start taking something for it, that is considered safe for breastfeeding, as feeling this way for 14 months is long enough. I hope you find a way to work through your post-partum stress and anxiety as well.

Peace and best wishes to you.

Walaykum salam Safiyah
Happy spring to you.

Melissa, I'm glad that you have found some medication that helps. I haven't had to do that yet as it hasn't been that overwhelming. Thanks for your support.
