Don't miss the Bus

Today is a good day
Inshallah I won't have to use my AK.

Oh such humor on a monday morning.
I got the kids off to school without missing the school bus - just barely.
My seven year old is not a morning person at all. She refuses to get out of
bed and will stay in until absolutely the last moment. And then move like a turtle
when she does get up whining and fussing.
She had the nerve to question the hair do she was going to get - in 1 minute - all that was available was a ponytail!
I had to tell her to run to the bus stop as it was pulling up in front of our house and she had not left the bedroom! She ran this time as many time she has dared the bus driver to leave by walking at a snails pace and indeed the bus driver drove off with a smile as if to say - next time RUN!

I tried to get them to bed early last night but they want to sit up and talk so this is my punishment for not punishing them sufficiently enough last night.

The baby was up late last night along with my 1 year old (3 a.m. ) so I will be heading back to sleep soon inshallah as its 7:23am and I'm really not ready to face the world.

Post-partum I am feeling fine al hamdulilaah. I just get overwhelmed with my responsibilities and the kids sometimes especially when they start crying at the same time. Can you imagine a 2 month old, 1 1/2 year old and then the 5 year old starts up from sibling fighting! Oh the noise makes me get in the car with the 2 month old and leave the house and the rest of the kids to the husband! It's called the Grand Escape and I have done it and just gone Shopping. When the going gets tough the tough go Shopping!
